Program Overview

The goal of this project is to raise funds and help financially challenged students who showed promising results in JSC exam, the future pioneers of our beloved motherland. Every year we read about the success stories of these unprivileged students in daily newspapers, and feel an urge to help them within our limited capacity.

This is a small effort to help some of them to successfully finish their high school education; without worrying about the financial need and help them to concentrate on their studies. We believe that with a little support from all of us, they can and will flourish their inner talents and develop their full potential to build a prosperous Bangladesh.

Program Overview

The objective of this project is to raise fund for the financially challenged students who, with all their financial and social adversaries, achieved excellent results in their SSC and HSC but are struggling with their undergraduate studies expenses.

We believe that with a little support from all of us they can flourish their talents and develop their full potential.

Family income less than ৳25,000 per month

Program Overview

Swapnadhara is a Dhaka-based nonprofit organization which promotes education among slum kids. It collects students from nearby slums, teaches them basic education, and vocational training. The parents of these kids are poor and illiterate. Parents are reluctant to send their kids to school, as they think that kids can bring some money for the family if kids work outside rather than wasting time in schools.

Swapnadhara aims to help these kids get some basic education and motivate them to go to school regularly to understand the value of education in improving their lives. The long term goal is to provide them education up to varsity-level so that these kids become self-reliant and help their families to come out of poverty.

Swapnadhara provides food as an incentive, so that kids are interested to attend school regularly. In addition, they provide some basic vocational training to the kids, so that kids can help their parents to income some money. This also motivates parents to send their kids to school. Right now, Swapnadhara teaches kids how to make grocery packaging items and handicrafts.

Hridoya Bangladesh has partnered with Swapnadhara to materialize this dream. Let us all come forward to help Swapnadhara achieve her dream.

Required documents include: recent academic transcripts, income certificate or salary slip, birth certificate, passport-sized photograph, and recommendation letter from a teacher or community leader.

The complete application process typically takes 4-6 weeks from submission to final decision. You'll be notified at each stage of the process.

Students may only apply for one scholarship type per academic year. Choose the program that best fits your current educational level and circumstances.

We conduct annual reviews of scholarship recipients. If your family income increases significantly, we may adjust or discontinue the scholarship while ensuring continued educational support.
